After you submit the booking form (or email directly), the Captain will respond to your inquiry within 48 hours with availability and a custom quote. The more details you provide, the more accurate the quote will be.

Once the finalize details are finalized, a 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

Base rates start at $150/hr with a 1-hour minimum. Custom quotes are provided based on event type, duration, travel distance, and any special requests (such as handout treasures and party favors). Jonathan Kaplan is based in St. Augustine, Florida, but is available for events throughout the entire state! Travel fees do apply for events outside of the St. Augustine / Jacksonville area.

Every event is different, but the Captain’s core offering is interactive walk-around entertainment featuring movie-accurate charm, signature swagger, and light-hearted pirate mischief. He mingles with guests, takes lots of photos, and adds fun swashbuckling energy throughout.

He’s happy to accommodate special requests such as grand entrances, games, emcee duties, or other ideas you have in mind!
