Notice Requirements
The Captain generally requires at least 2 weeks’ notice for all bookings. This helps coordinate schedules and prepare properly for the event.

To Confirm a Booking

To secure your date, the client must:

  • Pay the 50% non-refundable deposit
  • Review and sign the Performance Agreement
  • Sign any additional contracts required for specific add-ons (if involving third-party partners)

The minimum booking time is 1 hour for most events.

Rush Bookings
Bookings with less than 14 days’ notice are classified as Rush Bookings.

These short-notice requests can sometimes be accommodated based on the Captain’s availability. Because they require extra coordination and preparation, Rush Bookings are subject to the following:

  • Less than 14 days’ notice: $50 – $100 rush fee + full payment required upfront
  • Same-day or next-day: $100 rush fee + full payment required upfront (when accepted)

All rush bookings are subject to availability. Rush fees and payments are non-refundable. However, the rush fee may be waived or reduced at the Captain’s discretion for special situations (repeat clients, charity events, etc.).

If the client needs to cancel:

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
  • Cancellations with 14 or more days’ notice: Any balance already paid will be refunded. The deposit may be transferred to a new date within 30 days (one-time only, subject to availability and the Captain’s discretion).
  • Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice: The deposit is non-refundable. No balance payment will be required, as the final balance is due on the day of the event.

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. The Captain will always do his best to accommodate rescheduling requests when possible.

If the Captain Must Cancel (illness, emergency, or force majeure): The client will receive a full refund of the deposit and any balance paid, or the event can be rescheduled within 60 days (subject to mutual agreement).

Accepted methods:
Credit/debit cards (via secure platform), Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, or cash.

Payment Schedule
Standard bookings: 50% deposit to secure the date; remaining balance due on the day of the event.

Rush bookings: 100% due at time of booking.

Late payments incur a $50 late fee per week until paid in full. The Captain reserves the right to waive or reduce this fee in special circumstances.

Travel Fees:
Free within 50 miles of St. Augustine, FL
$25 per additional 50-mile increment beyond that
Travel over 250 miles: Custom quote (To cover potential lodging, travel time, etc.)
